Nikolaus Homestead Elementary is fortunate to have a very active and involved Parent Teacher Service Organization (PTSO). Their efforts make it possible for our community to unify in support of our students and staff.
What We Do
Our PTSO is a regular feature on campus. Just look around—once you know where to find us, you’ll start to see us all over the place facilitating book fairs, running the Christmas store, fall carnival, science night, Penny War, and much more.
We use these funds to cover expenses not included in the regular school budget. These might include field trips, classroom supplies, student rewards, teacher appreciation events, playground equipment, musical instruments, and the highly anticipated Accelerated Reader Party of All Parties.
We Need You
You’ve heard it before, “Many hands make light work.” That holds true here, and we invite you to lend a hand. Everyone has something they can contribute, and we welcome your help however you are able to contribute—whether it’s home projects, becoming a PTSO officer, or volunteering at one of our many events.
If you are interested in becoming involved with our PTSO, please contact the front office at (928) 537-6150.
